       FENELON FALLS CHURCH AT 159

Oh give me a place where a church glows with grace,
and the old and the young like to play.
May Fenelon Falls be a church beyond walls
where our faith is not cloudy all day.

 Chorus

Home, home in our church,
with no colours or creeds seen as wrong;
where seldom is heard a discouraging word,
and all orientations belong.

At one fifty-nine we taste bread and wine
while the COVID still plagues us like sin.
Though Jesus once died and his follows cried,
now his Spirit gives life deep within.

We now wear our masks as we carry out tasks
that we once used to do face to face.
Now ‘phones’ bring the cross as a comfort for loss
as we find in our fiends holy grace.

Chorus

How often at night when the heavens are bright,
we rejoice that our church remains strong.
We celebrate now, and the Spirit shows how
to continue creation’s Love Song.

Music: “Home on the Range”
